Jamaat chief Shafiqur Rahman meets Chinese ambassador

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen has met Jamaat-e-Islami chief Shafiqur Rahman. The Chinese envoy visited Shafiqur at his residence in Dhaka's Bashundhara at 10am on Tuesday. The ambassador was accompanied by Zhang Jing, director of the embassy's political wing. The Jamaat chief was accompanied by the party's Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar, Assistant Secretary General Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair and Shafiqur's Foreign Affairs Advisor Prof Mahmudul Hasan.
