The rice was seized in a raid in the Mohakhalpara area of the Upazila Sadar around 11:30pm on Monday night, according to Nasirnagar Upazila Administrator (UNO) Shaheena Nasrin. The police also detained two workers from the store. They were identified as Shaha Kamal Mia and Jewel Mia, both of whom hailed from the Upazila. They were working to remove the rice from the store.
