DHAKA, Sept 15, 2025 (BSS) – European Union (EU) Ambassador to Bangladesh Michael Miller has said EU remains committed to supporting the interim government to ensure a free, fair, and participatory election in February. “We are looking forward to working with the next government elected by the people of Bangladesh,” he said while addressing a views-exchange meeting at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital. The envoy said that upcoming election marks a critical moment for Bangladesh’s political transition. The interim government must complete its reform agenda swiftly based on political consensus, he added.
