Users fear impact on trade as Chittagong Port tariffs increase

The Chittagong Port Authority has raised tariffs of different service sectors of Chittagong Port. The notification announcing the move was issued at midnight on Sunday, signed by the Chittagong Port Authority Chairman Rear Admiral SM Moniruzzaman. Port Secretary Md Omar Faruk said the new tariffs took effect on Monday.
