Death sentence for two over 2013 rape, murder in Barishal

Two men have been sentenced to death for the 2013 rape and murder of a young woman, whose body was dumped in a canal. On Monday, Judge Rokibul Islam of the Barishal Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal delivered the verdict in the case. The convicted are Kabir Akon, son of Israfil Akon from East Kodalia village, and Jabbbar Bepari, son of Moslem Bepari from the same village.
