Listed terrorist arrested with arms, yaba tablets in Ctg | District

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 15, 2025 (BSS) - Joint forces arrested a listed terrorist and drug peddler, Jahangir Maji, along with several of his associates from the East Madarbari area in the city early today. Based on information, members of the joint forces conducted a raid at around 12:30 am and detained Jahangir Maji and his accomplices. During the raid, law enforcers recovered a number of locally made firearms and 1,800 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets from their possession. Confirming the incident, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadarghat Police Station under Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) said Jahangir Maji had been on the run for a long time to evade arrest.
