Police say a woman and her mother-in-law have been killed after a bus ploughed into two CNG-run autorickshaws in Chattogram's Dohazari. At least eight others were seriously injured in the accident that occurred on the Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar Highway around 11am on Monday, according to Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Mohiuddin of the Dohazari Highway Police Station. The dead have been identified as 70-year-old Fatema Begum from Chandanaish Municipality and her 42-year-old daughter-in-law Shameema Akhtar. The injured, meanwhile, receieved treatment at local hospitals before being sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
