Protesters attacked the upazila parishad and a police station in Bhanga, Faridpur, over the reorganization of parliamentary seats. The incident occurred around 1:00 pm on Monday (15 September). Meanwhile, traffic on the Faridpur-Barishal and Dhaka-Khulna highways has been suspended, and the entire area remains tense. According to sources, thousands of protesters stormed the Upazila Parishad, vandalised government offices, and set them on fire. They also attacked the police station, damaging at least three police vehicles and several other vehicles, including motorcycles. Fire services later arrived at the scene and brought the fires under control.
