Woman gives birth to six babies at DMC | Others

DHAKA, Sept 14, 2025 (BSS) – A 23-year-old woman, Mokseda Akhter Priya, today gave birth to six babies at the Gynecology Ward of Dhaka Medical College (DMC). Mokseda delivered the babies in Ward No. 212 at around 9 am. Of them, three are boys and three are girls. Two newborns have been kept at the DMC NICU, while three others were taken to Nilkhet Homecare due to space constraints. One male newborn died around 6 pm today while the condition of another remains critical, an on-duty doctor at DMC said. Mokseda was admitted to the hospital around midnight on Sunday.
