Education ministry unveils draft amendment to NCTB Act | News

DHAKA, Sept 14, 2025 (BSS) - The secondary and higher education divisionunder the education ministry has unveiled the draft amendment of the NationalCurriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) Act, 2018. A letter, signed by the division's senior assistant secretary Sifat Uddin,unveiled the amendment proposal on September 4 asking people to submit theirviews on the draft with the 15 days. According to the issued letter, an inter-ministerial meeting was held onAugust 12 to rectify (NCTB) Act -2018. The proposal of the amendment wasauthorized by proceedings.
