Three robbers arrested, vehicles recovered in city | Others

DHAKA, Sept 14, 2025 (BSS) – Police arrested three active members of a gang of robbers impersonating DB (Detective Branch) personnel and recovered a truck, a private car, and a motorcycle from their possession in the city. The arrestees are Monowar Hossain Sakal alias Babu, 34, Md Titu Mia, 32, and Md Mithu Mia, 48, according to a media release issued by Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) today. A team of Jatrabari Police Station conducted a series of raids in the capital’s Mirpur and Babubazar areas and in Haimchar of Chandpur district yesterday and arrested them, the release said.
