The Jamaat-e-Islami has proposed a temporary constitutional order to implement the July Charter, or National Charter, while the BNP has suggested seeking advice from the Supreme Court for an additional or special constitutional order. The National Citizen Party (NCP), however, says amendments and reforms can be made through a new Constitution and newly written clauses, sub-clauses, and articles through the Constituent Assembly elections. They made these proposals during a meeting of the National Consensus Commission on implementing the July Charter, held on Sunday at the Foreign Service Academy.
