Durga Puja to be celebrated in 368 mandaps in Natore | District

NATORE, Sept 14, 2025 (BSS) - Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Bangalee Hindu community, will be celebrated at 368 mandaps in the district this year. On the occasion of the upcoming Durga Puja celebration, a preparatory meeting was held this morning at the Deputy Commissioner Conference room. Deputy Commissioner Asma Shaheen presided over the meeting. The meeting discussed and decided to celebrate Durga Puja with due dignity and properly from September 28 to October 2. To maintain law and order in each mandaps, it was decided to appoint its own security personnel, ensure security with the help of police and Ansar forces.
