Dengue hospitalisations have soared past the highest daily record set recently, with 685 new patients admitted and three more fatalities taking the tally of deaths to 150 this year. On Sunday, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said the latest admissions brought the total number of hospitalisations to 37,891 this year. The previous daily high this year was 625 hospitalisations, logged on Wednesday. Two of the dead were under treatment at the DNCC Dedicated COVID-19 Hospital, while the other was in Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
