Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of renowned folk singer Farida Parveen, noting that her renditions of Lalon’s songs have touched the hearts of people for decades. “Her songs elevated the inner philosophy and meaning of life in our culture to a new level,” he said in a condolence message.
