The operation carried out late Friday night as part of the Navy’s ongoing anti-drug and anti-crime campaign, brought relief to locals who said the couple had long been involved in narcotics trade in the area. “As part of its continuous drives against drugs, terrorism and criminal activities in designated areas, the Bangladesh Navy in collaboration with police conducted an operation in Bhola on Friday night,” said an ISPR release here today.
