DHAKA, Sept 13, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali today stressed on people’s participation in checking crimes saying “people’s participation is crucial in containing the crimes”. In this context, he also lauded the initiative of the commoners for bringing the entire areas of Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara and Niketon under CCTV coverage to check crimes. "With the initiative and financial support of the residents of Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara, and Niketon, CCTVs have been set up in the areas. It will help prevent crimes and identity the criminals," he said.
