Tarique Rahman, the acting chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, has said the establishment of democracy will guarantee the rights of animals, wildlife, and ecosystems in the country. Addressing a seminar on Saturday, Tarique spoke about the connection between democracy and the protection of environmental rights.
