Tarique says democracy’s establishment will ensure the rights of wildlife

Tarique Rahman, the acting chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, has said the establishment of democracy will guarantee the rights of animals, wildlife, and ecosystems in the country. Addressing a seminar on Saturday, Tarique spoke about the connection between democracy and the protection of environmental rights. He said, "Just as human rights are central to democracy, the rights of wildlife and ecosystems are equally vital.
