Bangladesh has reported 279 new dengue hospitalisations over the past 24 hours, raising this year’s tally to 37,206. According to data released by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Saturday, two more people have died from the disease over the last 24 hours, taking the tally of deaths to 147 this year. Among the newly admitted patients, the highest number, 97, is from the two city corporation areas of Dhaka. In the Dhaka Division, 42 have been admitted, nine in Mymensingh, 84 in Chittagong, two in Khulna, and 45 in Barishal.
