Chhatra Shibir extends financial assistance to journalist Shibli's family | Others

DHAKA, Sept 12, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir (BICS) has extended financial assistance Tk 2 lakh to the family of Channel S journalist Tariqul Islam Shibli, who tragically passed away from a stroke while on duty covering the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) elections on September 9. Newly elected DUCSU leaders and central BICS leaders paid a visit to Shibli's residence on Madhumita Road in Tongi on Friday night. The delegation met with the bereaved family, inquired about their wellbeing, and handed over the financial assistance in cash.
