Ex-DIG Nahidul Islam sent to jail | Others

DHAKA, Sept 13, 2025 (BSS)- A court here today sent former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police AKM Nahidul Islam to jail in connection with a case filed with International Crimes Tribunal (ICT). A team of the Detective Branch (DB) of police produced him before the court of Metropolitan Magistrate (MM) Dilruba Afroz Tithi and prayed for confining him in the jail till the end of the investigation of the case. The court after hearing the statement of the prosecution ordered to send him to jail.
