19 AL men arrested in Dhaka for disrupting law, order | Others

DHAKA, Sept 13, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested 19 leaders and activists of the Awami League (AL) and its affiliated organizations from various parts of the capital on Friday for allegedly disrupting law and order by organizing sudden flash processions. Among those detained are seven key figures: Roman Ahmed (32), member of the AL's Agriculture and Cooperatives Central Sub-Committee, Sanjeeb Islam Afendi (35), former Science and Technology Affairs Secretary of the AL's Information and Research Sub-Committee, Nabed Ahmed Naba (25), member of Bajitpur Upazila Chhatra League in Kishoreganj district, Md.
