JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Sept 13, 2025 (BSS) - The Jahangirnagar University (JU) authorities have announced all academic classes and administrative offices will remain closed on September 14 due to the mental and physical exhaustion experienced by teachers, students, and staff following the ongoing JU Central Students' Union (JUCSU) elections. A notification signed by JU Registrar ABM Azizur Rahman said the decision was made in recognition of the relentless efforts put in by members of the university community during the election process including preparations, voting, and vote counting from September 10 to 13.
