JUCSU vote counting continues, results expected tonight | News

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Sept 12, 2025 (BSS) – Counting of ballots in the Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) elections is progressing without interruption and is expected to conclude tonight. The polls were held peacefully yesterday from 9 am to 5 pm across 21 residential halls. The vote counting is being conducted manually, the JUCSU Election Commission said in a press release signed by its Member Secretary Prof Dr A K M Rashidul Alam. Results of 20 hall unions have already been completed, while counting in remaining hall is still underway, the release added.
