DHAKA, Sept 12, 2025 (BSS)- FIDE Master Tahsin Tajwar Zia of Bangladesh Ansar again took solo lead in the points table with 6.5 points after eighth or penultimate round games of the 49th National ‘B’ Chess Championship held at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room today (Friday. Five players are sharing second position with six points. They are international Master Abu Safian Shakil, International Master Md. Minhaz Uddin, FIDE Master Md. Sharif Hossain and FIDE Master Mohammad Javed of Bangladesh Navy and FIDE Master Sakline Mostafa Sajid of Bangladesh Army. Three players are sharing third position with 5.5 points.
