Tarique calls for global pressure on Israel to stop aggression in Palestine

BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has called on the international community to increase pressure on Israel to end its ongoing aggression and oppression against the Palestinian people. In a Facebook post on Friday, he condemned Israel’s plan to expand settlements in the occupied West Bank. He said, “The international community must tell the International Court of Justice not to delay their verdict of a clear genocide in Gaza by the Israeli government while Palestinians suffer even more.” Israel launched an invasion of Gaza in October 2023 following attacks and hostage-taking by Hamas inside Israel.
