Five human traffickers held in Cox's Bazar | District

COX'S BAZAR, Sept 12, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) today arrested five active members of a human trafficking group in Teknaf upazila of the district. The arrestees were identified as Syed Alam, 29; Md. Abdullah, 22; Md. Ridwan Hossain, 20; Md. Nurul Afsar, 20; and Md. Abdul Hakim, 40. All are residents of the Dakkhin Lambari Para area of Teknaf upazila. Lieutenant Colonel Ashiqur Rahman, Commander of the Teknaf-2 BGB Battalion, confirmed the matter.
