Vishnu idol worth Taka 40 lakh recovered in Naogaon | District

NAOGAON, Sept 12, 2025 (BSS) – A team of RAB-5 has recovered a Vishnu idol worth about Taka 40 lakh from a mango orchard in Porsha Upazila of Naogaon district. Acting on a tip-off about the smuggling of the idol, Crime Prevention Company-3 of RAB-5, based in Joypurhat, conducted an operation on Thursday night in a mango orchard at Doyahar village under Tetulia Union of the upazila, according to a press release.
