Naogaon's Mominpur market becomes green chilli trading hub | District

NAOGAON, Sept 12, 2025 (BSS) - Mominpur market, a wholesale market in Mahadevpur upazila under the district, has become a trading hub of green chilli with Taka 2.50 crore trading volume every month. Talking to BSS, traders mentioned that the chilli from this market go to different districts of the country, including Dhaka, Rajshahi, Sylhet and Chattogram. Raw chili is being sold at Taka 60-70 per kg in this market, they added. Two days ago, the price was Taka 130-150 per kg, they said.
