12 AL men sent to jail for attempting to organize unlawful rally | Others

DHAKA, Sept 12, 2025 (BSS) – A Dhaka court has sent 12 activists of the Awami League and its affiliated organizations to jail after they were arrested while preparing to hold an illegal flash rally in the capital’s Darus Salam area. Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Ehsanul Islam passed the order today as police produced them before the court and pleaded for their detention until the end of the investigation. Those sent to jail are: Al Amin, 32, Akkas Mia, 52, Sohag Maji, 38, Nesor Mia, 48, Yusuf Ali, 48, Faruk Hossain, 47, Mokbul Mridha, 54, Manki Mia, 38, Md. Shahin, 50, Md.
