SI returns Tk 50,000 to owner | News

DHAKA, Sept 12, 2025 (BSS) – A Sub-Inspector (SI) of Shahjahanpur Police Station has returned Tk. 50,410, found in the city, to its original owner. According to a DMP media release issued here today, on-duty SI of Shahjahanpur Police Station Ashiqur Rahman saw a bundle of money lying on the pavement in front of Noor Sanitary shop at Malibagh under Shahjahanpur Police Station at about 5:15 pm yesterday. He recovered the money with the help of pedestrians, which amounted to Tk. 50,410 after counting, the release said.
