Dinajpur administration declares 4 unions child marriage-free | District

DINAJPUR, Sept 12, 2025 (BSS) - The local administration here formally declared four unions under the district's Birganj Upazila free from child marriage and one union free from child labour. The child marriage-free unions are Mohanpur, Palatpur, Nijpara and Sujalpur while Sujalpur union is free from child labour. The declaration was made today by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Tanvir Ahmed at an event at the Shalban Community Center auditorium at the upazila.
