Six AL men held in city | District

DHAKA, Sept 12, 2025 (BSS) – Police arrested six leaders and activists of the banned Awami League (AL) and its associate bodies from the Paikpara area under Mirpur Model Police Station here. The arrestees were identified as Md Jewel Rana, 35, president of Sujanagar Poura Jubo League in Pabna district and vice-president of Sujanagar Upazila Chhatra League; Al Noman Saif, 29, a worker of AGS Islamia College Chhatra League in Chattogram city; Md Julhas, 26, a worker of Chattogram District Jubo League; Emon Hossain Khan Manik, 25, a worker of Chhatra League; Md Sagar Hossain, 27, a worker of AL; and Md Ohidul Islam Sumon, 33.
