A day after voting ended, the wait for the results of the Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) election has continued to drag on, with no clear indication of when the outcome might be known. After polls closed at 5pm on Thursday, ballot boxes were moved from the halls to the Senate building. Counting began a little after 10pm, starting with Kazi Nazrul Islam Hall and Mir Mosharraf Hossain Hall, followed by AFM Kalam Uddin Hall, Shaheed Janani Jahanara Imam Hall and another hall.
