JUCSU polls: Vote counting likely to end by 4pm

Vote counting in the Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) elections is underway and may conclude by 4:00pm on Friday, according to Election Commission member Dr Lutful Elahi. He shared the information with reporters at the university’s Senate Building around 3:30am. “So far, the counting of ballots from three halls has been completed. The process continued throughout the night. To expedite the work, the commission is considering bringing in experienced manpower in the morning,” Dr. Elahi said.
