Counting is under way at a slow pace in the Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) and hall council elections, which ended amid allegations of irregularities and boycotts. Ballot boxes were brought from hall centres to the Senate Bhaban after polling ended at 5pm on Thursday. The first boxes to be opened are from Kazi Nazrul Islam Hall and Mir Mosharraf Hossain Hall, followed by boxes from AFM Kalam Uddin Hall and Jahanara Imam Hall.
