61 EC officials transferred  | News

DHAKA, Sept 11, 2025 (BSS) - As part of preparation for the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections, the Election Commission (EC) has transferred 61 field-level officials.The transfers were announced in three separate office orders today and the notifications were signed by EC Secretariat Assistant Secretary Mohammad Shahidur Rahman.According to the office orders, five officials of the Election Commission Secretariat have been reassigned to new positions until further notice.Of the transferred officials, Deputy Secretary G. M. Sahatab Uddin has moved from General Services-1 to Human Resources Development and Welfare, while Deputy Secretary Md. Rafiqul Islam has been posted to General Services-1.Deputy Secretary Md.
