Three held with yaba tablets in city | Others

DHAKA, Sept 11, 2025 (BSS) - Detective Branch (DB) of Police under Gulshan Division has arrested three alleged drug dealers and recovered 5,000 pieces of yaba tablets from Kaptan Bazar area of the city. The arrested are Ehsan Ullah, 40, Abdul Gafur, 50, and Md Sobir, 37, according to a press release issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Media and Public Relations Division) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Muhammad Talebur Rahman, today. On a tip-off, a DB team of Gulshan division conducted a raid in Kaptan Bazar area under Wari Police Station at about 08:45am today and arrested the trio-Ehsan, Gafur and Sobir.
