Stocks rebound on both bourses | Business

DHAKA, Sept 11, 2025 (BSS) - Stocks today managed a turnaround from theshort-lived correction phase, riding on late-session buying activity, asinvestors turned back to the market owing to positive expectations amidfavorable macroeconomic developments. DSEX, the broad index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), recovered 50.6points to settle at 5,524 points as against 5,473 points in the previoustrading session. Market analysts observed that although volatility persisted until mid-session, buyers emerged across the board to stabilize the market thatreinforced optimism among market participants. However, investor participation remained somewhat subdued, with marketturnover falling by 18.1 percent (pc) to Taka 7.8 billion from Taka 9.5billion in the previous session.
