River Police to ensure maximum security at Puja Mandaps, idol immersion venues | News

DHAKA, Sept 11, 2025 (BSS) – The River Police has planned to ensure optimum security at Puja Mandaps and idol immersion venues under its jurisdiction across the country during the Sharadiya Durga Puja celebrations. The decision was made at a view-exchange meeting held today at the River Police Headquarters, with Additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kusum Dewan in the chair, said a press release.
