The media has allegedly been barred from entering the polling centres for women in the Jahangirnagar Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) election. Even women reporters were not allowed to enter the poll centres during the voting on Thursday. Voting kicked off in 21 poll centres in different halls and academic buildings at 9am on Thursday. Among them, female students are voting at the centres of Begum Rokeya Hall, Begum Fazilatunnesa Hall, Bir Pratik Taramon Bibi Hall, Sheikh Hasina Hall, Begum Sufia Kamal Hall, and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Hall.
