DHAKA, Sept 11, 2025 (BSS) - National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam has congratulated the newly elected leaders of Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) and hall unions. In a message posted on his official Facebook page on Wednesday night, Nahid Islam said, "I convey my heartfelt greetings and warm congratulations to all the newly elected leaders of DUCSU and hall unions of Dhaka University." He remarked that the participatory and competitive nature of the elections allowed students to choose their representatives, which he termed "a positive stride in the practice of democracy".
