Voting begins in JUCSU polls | News Flash

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Sept 11, 2025 (BSS) - The long-awaited elections to the Jahangirnagar University Central Students' Union (JUCSU) and hall unions began on schedule at 9 am today. Voting will continue without interruption from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at 21 centres, comprising 224 booths in 11 male and 10 female residential halls. Students were seen gathering in front of the centres well before the official opening hour, while returning officers sealed ballot boxes in the presence of polling agents and media representatives to ensure transparency. For the first time in JUCSU history, Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology-based ballots are being used in the elections.
