Bangladesh, EU reaffirm commitment to strengthen migration, mobility cooperation | News

DHAKA, Sept 10, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh and the European Union (EU) todayreaffirmed their shared commitment to deepen cooperation on migration andmobility ahead of the 3rd Bangladesh-EU Migration and Mobility Dialogue. The pledge came when visiting Director for Migration and Asylum at theEuropean Commission's Directorate-General for Migration and Home AffairsMichael Shotter, called on Foreign Ministry Secretary (Bilateral) Dr. Md.Nazrul Islam at his office here. During the meeting, Islam praised the EU's sustained engagement withBangladesh in fostering safe, orderly and regular migration.
