Dr Shafiq meets British High Commissioner | Others

DHAKA, Sept 10, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman today met British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Sarah Cooke at his office in the city's Bashundhara area. Kate Ward, Second Secretary at the British High Commission accompanied the High Commissioner during the meeting. The meeting focused on the overall political situation in Bangladesh, democracy and governance, the forthcoming national elections, human rights issues, the status of minorities and the ongoing Rohingya crisis.
