BCB aims to prepare former cricketers as coaches | Sports

DHAKA, Sept 10, 2025 (BSS)-The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has taken aninitiative to prepare the former cricketers as coaches in a bid to quell thedearth of quality local coaches. The BCB president Aminul Islam Bulbul expressed his desire assured to usethem in the Under-19 team, age-based teams and the national team later. A coaching course bas started at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium today togive district and divisional coaches a glimpse of modern cricket coaching. Cricketers like Mohammad Ashraful, Shahriar Nafees and Mahmudullah Riyad havejoined this course.
