Ensuring children's rights imperative to knowledge, safety: speakers | District

Aims of the initiative was to strengthen child protection systems, raiseawareness on safeguarding policies, and promote active participation ofchildren in decision-making processes to ensure their safety from violence,exploitation, abuse, and neglect. Around 40 participants consisting of government officials, developmentactivists, journalists, teachers, local leaders, parents, religious leadersand other professionals discussed how to include children's voices indecisions, create child-focused systems and build stronger partnershipsbetween adults and children.
