Illegal goods, drugs worth Tk 2.11cr seized in Kurigram borders | District

KURIGRAM, Sept 10, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in separate drives seized various smuggled goods and drugs worth Taka 2.11 crore from different border areas of the district during the last seven days (September 1-7). Commander of BGB-22 Battalion of Kurigram Lt. Col. Mohammad Mahbub ul Haque PSC confirmed the matter on Wednesday morning. The two arrested persons are Mominul Islam, 24, son of Bachchu Rahman of Dakshin Bashjani village under Bhurungamari upazila of the district and Md. Humayun Kabir, 20, son of Bablu Mia of Kamat Angaria village of the same upazila.
