DHAKA, Sept 10, 2025 (BSS) - BNP standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed today congratulated the winners of the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) elections, describing the polls as a reflection of democratic practice. "I personally congratulate those who have won the DUCSU elections. This is the principle of democracy," he said. He made the remarks while addressing a discussion organized at the Institution of Diploma Engineers in Kakrail, marking the 47th founding anniversary of Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal. Salahuddin noted that although the elections were a positive development, there were certain irregularities.
