OC withdrawn over supporting JCD-backed DUCSU panel

The Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Police Station, Mozzaffar Hossain, has been withdrawn from his post after a Facebook post appeared to show support for candidates of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD)-backed panel in the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) elections. The matter was confirmed on Wednesday (10 September) by MM Rokib Ur Reza, Additional Superintendent of Police of Brahmanbaria Sadar Circle. He stated that OC Mozzaffar Hossain had been withdrawn and attached to the police line, and OC Azharul Islam of Nasirnagar Police Station has been assigned in his place.
